Due to the sensitive nature of our products we require a signature on all of our out-going packages to ensure they don't fall into the hands of a minor.
If you are not home, Canada Post will route your package to the nearest Post Office where you can pick it up and leave you a Door Hanger notice card telling you where they've taken it. They will also need to see your government-issued photo ID.
If you are unable to pick up your package, you can get a friend to pick it up for you. There are certain guidelines for this however. Please see below:
If someone is picking up a package on your behalf and does not live at your address the post office will need:
One piece of acceptable government-issued photo ID and one of the following:
- Delivery notice card signed by the addressee and with your name listed as the authorized individual. Or
- Letter of authorization or legal document (such as a power of attorney) demonstrating your authority to act on the addressee’s behalf.
